About Laborex

Founded in 1994, Laborex 2000 was authorised in 1995 by The Office of Consumer Protection to provide electrosafety tests thus becoming one of the first private laboratories and answering to a new demand of the market : a service provider for juridical entities interested in the testing and analysing the products that already existed on the market or that were to be imported.

Due to the quality of the services the clients portfolio increased to aproximately 30% of the electrosafety market.

In the following years the laboratory extended its object of activity to energetical and noise tests for refrigerators as well as consultancy for technical documentations, company standards and homologation files.

Because of the changes in the legislation and due to more precise regulations regarding the entry on the market of the products from the point of view of the human safety, our market share increased accompanied by a growth in the market demand for new tests and new products testing (food, cosmetics, cleaners). Therefore the company created and implemented a project for the development of a physical-chemical and microbiological tests, a project that successfully ended in 1999 with the accreditation of RENAR( The National Association for Accreditation) in conformity with SR EN 17025 for the following products :

1. Physical-chemical and microbiological tests for :

environment(water, air) equipment and work surfaces food cosmetics detergents, cleaners and other house-hold products water

2. Sanitation tests for :

packing environment (water, air) equipment and work surface

3. Electrical, energetically and electro safety tests for :

house-hold appliances electronics office equipment telecommunication equipment lighting means electrical tools and industrial equipment electric plant components hospital equipment batteries and accumulators

In 2001 Laborex 2000 was authorised by The National Sanitary and Veterinary Authority to provide physical-chemical and microbiological analysis for food having animal origin, so becoming the first private laboratory owning such an authorisation.

2001 was the year when Laborex 2000 obtained the Authorization of the Ministry of Health via the Public Health Department of the Ilfov County for the physical, chemical and microbiological analyses and of electrical, power and electrical security tests.

LABOREX 2000 is offering to its customers a complete range of services in the field of products' quality inspection and rapidly responds to all requirements.
